I've always been an avid reader.
In 1st grade I was reading at a 5th grade level and it just took off from there.
I love how you can read a book and everything around you suddenly disappears. There you are inside a world imagined by a person you've never before seen, but yet there you are in such an intimate part of their very soul. It's magical. The light feel of the pages. The smell. The way you get to make up in your mind every way a sentence is said and just exactly how the characters look.
So ladies and gents.
Go to your local library and lose yourself, or thrift shop and buy 7 books like yours truly.

ReplyDeleteMy first suggestion if you've not yet would definitely be The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. A true gem. In fact any book by Mitch Albom is a pleasure. Also, lets only hope that you've read The Hunger Games.
